Mae Siu-Wai Stroshane has taught piano in the greater Boston area since 1999. Her students range from beginners to advanced, ages 6 to 92.

Patient and cheerful, she tailors her approach to each individual’s skills and interests, starting with a thorough grounding in the basics and broadening to pop, Broadway, TV and classical styles.

Mae majored in music at Stanford and completed her Bachelor’s at Vermont College. In addition to teaching, she writes songs, improvises, and composes instrumental music that has been featured on film soundtracks.
