In January 2008, the Piano Man joined with the Royal Academy for Music and Performing Arts to teach piano lessons at The Piano Man at 719-721 Main Street in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Piano Man is one of the largest piano and organ retailers in New England, and the Royal Academy of Arts is a recognized member of the National Guild of Community Schools for the Arts.

The Royal Academy offers a wide variety of piano teaching and has been one of the leaders in music education in central Massachusetts. The Royal Academy for Music and Performing Arts is a music school whose mission is to integrate music into the daily lives of our community and to ensure that each of our students receive the highest quality music education.
Private and Group Instruction at All Levels
The Piano Man has always offered private and group music instruction at all different skill and age levels. With the Royal Academy, they will now teach a variety of genres of music including Classical, Jazz, R & B, Pop, Blues and New Age. In addition, voice lessons will continue to be offered at The Piano Man.
Beginning April 1st, piano lessons and music lessons for toddlers, pre-schoolers and those ages 7 and up from the Royal Academy will begin at The Piano Man location.

At Piano Man and at The Royal Academy, we believe that all children are capable of learning music, regardless of need, background or ability. We aim to develop commitment, discipline, creativity and insight through music. We strive to teach our students to better understand and appreciate music and to develop a better sense of musicianship as little music makers. We are constantly pursuing maintaining the highest standards and level of music education as well as helping and supporting our students in reaching their highest potential. Piano Man is offering piano lessons and music lessons for toddlers, pre-schoolers and those ages 7 and up. Our classes for the fall and winter are outlined here:
"PIANO INSTRUCTION"
Music Program for ages 7 and up - offers music theory, solfege and fun piano pieces, gradually increasing the difficulty. Method used in class: Alfred’s basic piano library. (All in one method).
"MAGIC FINGERS"
Music lessons and piano lessons for Pre-schoolers - Pre-schoolers love learning new things and piano music should be one of them. In this class, our piano teacher employs the "Music for Little Mozarts" method, which includes music lessons, workbook and discovery book exercises.
"MUSIC MOVEMENT and FUN"
Music program for toddlers - Toddlers respond to music in incredible ways when they are active participants of it. This is the reason why this music program is based on creative movement activities that allow the children to rock, clap, stomp and move to the sound of wonderful music. Every activity is carefully designed and matched to classical pieces that will engage the child’s imagination. Singing is another very important part of the program, full of rhymes and tunes for toddlers.
